2001 - An Irish Odyssey

We're baaaack!. For those of you who were there, you know the story, for those who were not, I am sure you have read the article from the "St. Petersburg Times". Top O' the Mornin to ya's all!
Today started out with the same rainy, yukky weather as yesterday but ended not as bad. We checked out a few hot spots in Dublin before meeting up with the band to hear their performance at the local Shopping Center...oh, and mind you, it is a "center" and not a "mall" as we were so nicely corrected by a native.
We checked out St. Patricks Cathedral - burial place of Jonathan Swift (author of Gullivers Travels), Trinity College - home of the Book of Kells, and Grafton Street - the City Center for Pubs and Shopping.
Due to the increase concern and yes, paranoia of the Foot and Mouth epidemic, the band's performance options were slim. It was determined that instead of marching down Grafton street that they would perform in the 'mall'. It was a great performance and they had all seemed to have fun playing for the locals as they shopped.
